SIGHTING POLE ASSEM

The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking a contractor to manufacture a Sighting Pole Assembly. The assembly is a critical component used in a shipboard system enabling the launch and recovery of aircraft. The contractor must meet strict quality assurance requirements, including First Article testing and inspection. The contractor must also provide operating and maintenance instructions, spare parts, and repair of the First Article during any First Article test. Key features of the assembly include: • The assembly must be manufactured in accordance with the provided drawings and specifications. • The assembly must meet the requirements of MIL-STD-130 and ANSI Z1.4. • The contractor must perform Quality Conformance and Lot Sampling Inspection for all associated features. • The contractor must provide a First Article Test Report documenting the outcome of the testing. • The contractor must deliver the accepted First Article as part of the contract quantity if it meets all contract requirements for acceptance.
