On-Call General Building Construction Services

The City of Thornton is seeking proposals from service providers to provide on-call general building construction services for various projects, including demolition, modifications, improvements, or new construction. The selected firm will be required to enter into an agreement with the City and maintain insurance coverages for the duration of the agreement. The firm will also be prohibited from assigning or subcontracting the whole or any part of the agreement without the prior written consent of the City. The proposal should include a cover letter, an executed Exhibit 1, Acceptance of Conditions Statement, and other required documents. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or any part thereof. • The City reserves the right to waive any formalities or informalities contained in any proposal. • The selected firm will be chosen based on the apparent greatest benefit to the City, not necessarily on the basis of lowest price. • The firm must have been in continuous operations in Colorado for the past three years to be minimally qualified for consideration for award. • The proposal will be evaluated based on responsiveness to the needs of the City, the firm's billable hourly rates and markup percentages, responsibility, experience, and other factors.
