Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to provide decking hardware and lumber materials for the Saylorville Lake Visitor Center. The contractor shall furnish, package, label, and deliver the materials listed in the solicitation document. The materials must meet the specifications provided and comply with applicable industry standards. The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all materials are new and unused, and that they are delivered to the Saylorville Lake Project Office within 14 days of contract award.
• The contractor must provide all materials listed in the bill of materials, including structural connectors and hardware, lumber, glu-lam beams, fasteners, and specialty screws.
• The contractor must ensure that all materials meet the specifications and standards provided, including AWPA, ASTM, and manufacturer requirements.
• The contractor must package, mark, and label all items to prevent damage during transport and to ensure that they are properly identified.
• The contractor must coordinate delivery with the point of contact and provide a delivery ticket with each shipment.
• The contractor is responsible for replacing any damaged or non-compliant materials at no additional cost to the government.
