Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to replace Medical Air Dryer equipment at the West Haven VA Medical Center in Connecticut. The replacement is required to restore permanent Medical Air Service to critical patient care areas. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing two Medical Grade Air Dryers systems with purge control, as well as performing post-installation inspections, testing, and certification of the medical gas system. The contractor must have a field service representative located within 200 miles of the West Haven Campuses of the VA Connecticut Healthcare System and have been trained by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) on the specific model of equipment.
• The contract will be for a firm-fixed price.
• The contractor must provide all resources necessary to provide Replacement Medical Air Dryer equipment.
• The contractor must demonstrate their corporate experience and approach to meet all requirements stated in the Performance Work Statement.
• The contractor must demonstrate that their technicians meet the qualification standards stated in the Performance Work Statement.
• The contractor must provide on-site training of new equipment for a minimum of two hours for VA Connecticut Healthcare Facilities Management Staff.
