This solicitation seeks a qualified Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Business to correct fire‑life‑safety deficiencies across multiple buildings at the Hampton VA Medical Center. The work includes demolition, structural steel and framing, fire‑alarm and sprinkler system installation, door and hardware upgrades, electrical relocation, concrete and paving, and comprehensive quality‑control and safety management. The contract is firm‑fixed‑price with a one‑year performance period and includes mandatory site‑visit, extensive reporting, and compliance with VA security, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Scope covers general construction, fire‑life‑safety systems, utility relocation, and specialty trades (electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural steel).
