Description
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide support for the Air Show portion of the 2027 Open House at Robins Air Force Base (RAFB) in Georgia. The contractor will be responsible for providing an experienced Air Boss, Air Show Announcer, Ground Boss, and non-standard operations subject matter expert. The contractor must have a minimum of 20 years of experience performing similar services in the Air Show industry and have provided Air Boss, Ground Boss, and Air Show Announcer services to U.S. military installations that have hosted the Blue Angels. The contractor must also comply with various security and environmental regulations.
Some key responsibilities of the contractor include:
* Providing an experienced Air Boss to execute guidance in accordance with AFMAN 10-1004 and DAFI 11-209
* Coordinating with Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting (ARFF) Airfield Management, Security Forces, Tower, Airspace Authorities, and FAA IIC during normal and emergency operations
* Providing an Air Show Announcer to obtain, document, and integrate a minimum of 50 aircraft into a comprehensive narrative for the duration of the Open House
* Coordinating with Public Health and Bioenvironmental Engineering to ensure procedures are implemented for safe sanitary food and water
* Ensuring compliance with security procedures and regulations, including those related to classified and sensitive information.
