This notice announces the adoption and filing of new regulations (12 AAC 02.108) that amend the biennial licensing fees for acupuncturists in Alaska. The Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, after review by the Department of Law, has set the initial and renewal license fee at $250 (previously $325). The regulations become effective on November 1 2026 after filing by the Lieutenant Governor. • Effective date: 11/1/2026 • Fee change: $250 for initial and renewal biennial licenses • Regulatory authority: AS 08.01.010, AS 08.01.065, AS 08.06.100, and the Administrative Procedure Act (AS 44.62) • No additional appropriations required • Public comment period concluded prior to adoption
