Notice of Intent to Sole Source Horizontal Dry Dilution Refrigerator Relocation Service

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Bluefors Inc. for the relocation of a Horizontal Dry Dilution Refrigerator from the NIST location in Boulder, CO to the Brookhaven National Laboratory. The contract will involve disassembling and packing the system, reassembling and installing it at the new location, running a cooldown test, and providing a test report. The contractor will also be required to maintain warranty coverage at the new location. • The contractor must provide expert support and consultation during the disassembly and packing of the system. • The contractor must reassemble and install the system at the new location. • The contractor must run a cooldown test and provide a test report. • The contractor must maintain warranty coverage at the new location.
