Construction Management Services Sunnyvale East and West Channels Flood Protection Project

The Santa Clara Valley Water District is seeking a construction management consultant to provide services for the Sunnyvale East and West Channels Flood Protection Project. The project involves various construction activities, including clearing and grubbing, demolition, excavation, and structural concrete work. The consultant will be responsible for providing construction management services, including inspection and monitoring of the work, coordination with the contractor, and compliance with regulatory permits. The selected consultant will be required to have at least 10 years of experience in construction management and inspection/special inspection on similar projects. • The project consists of 25 tasks, including clearing and grubbing, demolition, excavation, and structural concrete work. • The consultant will be responsible for providing construction management services, including inspection and monitoring of the work. • The project requires compliance with various regulatory permits, including the NPDES Construction General Permit and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife Streambed Alteration Agreement. • The consultant will be required to have knowledge of regulations and codes, including Caltrans Manuals, ACI, ICC, AWS AASHTO Greenbook, and Cal/OSHA. • The project involves coordination with the contractor, the City of Sunnyvale, and other stakeholders.
