Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions, Inc. (VHSS) to provide calibration, maintenance, installation, and technical support services for TempTrak systems located in critical areas of the VA Medical Centers. These areas include medical refrigerators, freezers, medication storage, and laboratory environments essential to patient care and safety. The contract will cover all temperature tracking equipment and systems located within critical hospital areas. The contractor will be responsible for annual calibration and certification of temperature monitoring equipment, installation of new sensors and associated components, signal integration for new and existing equipment, troubleshooting and resolving system alerts, faults, and staff-reported issues, and documentation of service activities and calibration records for compliance and audit purposes.
