Notice of Intent to Sole Source – SCC Soft Computer

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a fixed price purchase order to Soft Computer Consultants INC for software and hardware license and maintenance services to support the existing Laboratory Information System (LIS) at the NIH Clinical Center. The LIS system is proprietary to SCC, and they are the only source capable of providing the necessary maintenance services. The system is mission critical for the Clinical Center, and patient safety is a top concern. • The purpose of this acquisition is to continue Soft software and hardware license and maintenance services for the IBM hardware and AIX operating system for servers that support the existing LIS. • The place of performance is Bethesda, MD 20892 USA. • The Product Service Code is 6515 – Medical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. • The NAICS Code is 513210 – Software Publishers.
