Dakota County seeks a qualified consulting firm to provide comprehensive aquatic invasive species (AIS) watercraft inspection services at four county boat launches for the 2026 fishing season. The contractor will recruit, train, and certify inspectors, manage daily operations, operate a high‑pressure decontamination unit, and deliver required reporting while ensuring all digital deliverables meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards.
• Recruit and certify MN DNR Level 1 (inspection) and Level 2 (decontamination) inspectors, supply uniforms and digital devices.
• Provide coverage Friday‑Sunday 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) at four launch sites, record data in the MN DNR system, and operate the Landa ECOS 7000 unit at Lake Byllesby.
• Submit bi‑weekly status updates, an end‑of‑season WCAG‑compliant report, and maintain required insurance, record‑keeping, and compliance with county policies.
