Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance, repair, and support services for Parata medication unit‑dose packagers and associated software at the Kansas City VA Medical Center pharmacy. The contract includes 24‑by‑7 technical support, parts replacement (excluding consumables), on‑site service visits, software updates, and detailed reporting. The base period is one year starting 1 Oct 2026 with up to four optional one‑year extensions, for a total possible performance duration of five years.
• Preventive maintenance four times per year and corrective repairs (including emergency response).
• All replacement parts (new or factory‑rebuilt) provided at no extra cost; consumables excluded.
• 24 × 7 × 365 technical support with a guaranteed 24‑hour dispatch response for on‑site service.
• Detailed Equipment Service Reports required after each visit; compliance with federal records‑management regulations mandatory.
• Contractor personnel must be Parata‑certified; service to be performed at Kansas City VAMC pharmacy (Room V2.710).
