The City of Fort Myers is seeking a multidisciplinary architectural and engineering team to design a new Cultural Center at Roberto Clemente Park. The proposed facility will be approximately 15,000 square feet, with two stories and a functional rooftop gathering space. The design should create a flexible, multi-purpose, and community-oriented facility that supports cultural programming, exhibitions, performances, administrative functions, and community gatherings. The scope of work includes providing professional services to conduct a space needs assessment and prepare the full design for the new Cultural Center. Key features of the project include: • A multi-purpose auditorium with seating capacity for approximately 200 people • Gallery/exhibit hall spaces designed for traveling exhibitions and artifacts • Climate-controlled storage space suitable for archival records and exhibit materials • A catering kitchen to support events and facility operations • A sound/recording studio • Functional rooftop for gatherings and events The City is looking for a team that can translate community needs into an inspiring and enduring civic facility, with a focus on innovation, functionality, and regulatory excellence.
