Description
The City of Lewiston is seeking bids for the Canal Cross Connector project, which involves work at the Cross Canal Connector pathway, adjacent to Cross Canal 2 between Lincoln and Oxford Street. The project includes all incidental work necessary to complete the project as outlined in the plans and specifications. A pre-bid meeting will be held via Zoom on July 20, 2026, at 10:00 am. Bids are due on August 4, 2026, at 2:00 pm. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond.
• The project requires a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid price.
• The project includes work such as construction of the Cross Canal Connector pathway.
• The City of Lewiston reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
• Bids must be submitted to the Deputy Director of Budget & Purchasing, City Hall, 27 Pine St. Lewiston, ME 04240.
• E-mailed or faxed proposals will not be considered.
