DRI - Renovation of Downtown Jamaica's Rufus King Park

This new DOS contract related to the Downtown Revitalization Inititaive will fund the renovation of Downtown Jamaica’s Rufus King Park, which includes a historic park and early 1800s house museum. The project will include restoring and redesigning the landscaped park and upgrades to the museum’s entrance and public spaces. This project, combined with currently planned scope to restore the historic museum building currently in design, will ensure Rufus King Park and Museum is a cultural beacon and destination for both residents and visitors to enjoy in Downtown Jamaica and beyond. The completed project helps achieve the vision and goals put forth by the local community as part of the Downtown Jamaica DRI Strategic Investment Plan.
