Description
The City of Kingsland, Georgia, is soliciting proposals to purchase a 16-17 cubic yard dump truck. The vehicle must meet specific requirements, including a 6x4 configuration, a gross vehicle weight rating of at least 58,000 lbs, and a minimum startability of 19% grade at GVWR. The proposal must include a manual signature of an authorized representative and must be submitted by February 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The contract will be awarded to the most responsible, responsive bidder whose submission conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the City of Kingsland.
• The vehicle must be a new, current model year, heavy-duty 6x4 dump truck designed for construction and municipal applications.
• The vehicle must be equipped with a 16-17 cubic yard dump body, fully assembled, tested, and ready for service upon delivery.
• The proposal must include a copy of the signed W-9, specifications, acknowledgement of addenda, bid proposal form, and bid proposal signature page.
• The City of Kingsland reserves the right to clarify any terms with the concurrence of the vendor.
• The vendor will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the City of Kingsland from loss for all suits, actions, or claims of any kind brought as a consequence of any negligent act or omission by the vendor.
