Demolition and Site Restoration - 358 Mowbray Arch

The City of Norfolk is seeking a responsible vendor to provide demolition and site restoration services at 358 Mowbray Arch. The project includes the demolition of a 4-story building with a mechanical penthouse and single-story additions, removal of all debris, and restoration of the site. The contractor will be required to provide an approved temporary safety/security barrier, obtain necessary permits, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The project has a mandatory pre-bid conference and requires the submission of a bid surety in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. • The contractor will be responsible for removing all hazardous materials, including asbestos, and complying with all environmental regulations. • The contractor will be required to provide a comprehensive final report, including documentation of all work performed and any changes to the original scope of work. • The contractor will be required to maintain the site for 30 days after completion of the work and ensure that it is left in a condition that allows for maintenance by the property owner. • The contractor will be required to comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to employment, immigration, and environmental protection.
