Sources Sought for Sikorsky S-64 Helicopter Initial and Recurrent Pilot Training

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking sources that can provide commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) Sikorsky S-64 helicopter initial and recurrent pilot training for Flight Standards Operations Inspectors and aircraft certification pilots employed by the FAA. The training should be provided in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor is expected to provide initial and recurrent ground school and flight training to enable the FAA inspectors/pilots to pass a pilot-in-command (PIC) practical test or proficiency check. The training should comply with the contractor's approved training program and the terms and conditions of the resulting contract/task order. Some key aspects of the training include: * Initial S-64 pilot qualification ground school and flight training * Recurrent pilot ground school and flight training * Supplementary training hours as required by the individual inspector/pilot * Compliance with the contractor's approved training program * Use of a full flight simulator (FFS) or flight training device (FTD) if applicable * Provision of all training aids and facilities that meet minimum requirements * Compliance with safety standards specified by the National Electrical Code, the National Fire Code, and the United States of America Standards Institute.
