Cortez Municipal Airport Apron Expansion

The City of Cortez is seeking bids for the expansion of the Cortez Municipal Airport apron. The project includes the construction of a new asphalt apron, demolition and installation of a new underdrain system, removal of an existing drainage structure, extension of stormwater pipe, installation of aircraft tie downs, and replacement of an existing electrical handhole. The successful bidder will be required to complete the project within the specified timeframe and budget. • The project requires the construction of a new asphalt apron located on the southwest side of the existing asphalt apron. • The project includes the demolition and installation of a new underdrain system. • The project requires the removal of an existing drainage structure and the extension of stormwater pipe. • The project includes the installation of aircraft tie downs and the replacement of an existing electrical handhole. • The project requires the installation of new retroreflective markers and pavement markings. • The project is partially funded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP). • Bidders must comply with federal requirements, including the Buy American Preference and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation.
