Description
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is seeking bids for the supply of Blended Hydraulic Cement, Type 1L, and Portland Cement, Regular, Type I. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the cement to various locations in Louisiana. The bid must include the price per 94-pound bag, and the price shall include all freight and delivery charges. The bidder must also provide a minimum of 490 bags per truckload.
• The cement must meet the requirements of the 2016 Louisiana Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridges, Section 1001.02.
• The bidder must provide a list of approved products from the Approved Materials List (AML) for Portland Cement and Blended Hydraulic Cement.
• The bidder must also provide a copy of the manufacturer's certification for the cement.
• The contract may be terminated by the State of Louisiana for convenience or cause.
• The bidder must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including those related to civil rights, disabilities, and energy efficiency.
