CCRL Proficiency Samples

The Florida Department of Transportation is seeking a single source vendor to provide CCRL proficiency samples for testing concrete and hot mix asphalt. The vendor must be able to supply 174 concrete samples and 413 hot mix asphalt samples in accordance with American Society of Materials and Testing (ASTM), Florida Method (FM), and American Association of State Highway Transportation Organizations (AASHTO) methods and procedures. The intended source is CMEC, Inc. due to their accreditation from the Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory. • The samples are used for evaluating the performance of qualified sampling and testing personnel who perform acceptance program sampling and testing for the Department. • The vendor must be able to provide proficiency samples in accordance with AASHTO’s Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory accreditation and ASTM standards. • The estimated dollar amount for this purchase is $44,025.00.
