Art Center Termite Tenting

The City of Palo Alto is seeking a qualified contractor to perform complete structural fumigation (tenting) of the Palo Alto Art Center to eradicate drywood termites. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. The project includes building preparation and sealing, monitoring, aeration, clearance certification, chemical reporting, and a minimum one-year warranty against drywood termite reinfestation. The fumigation is anticipated to take place during the last two weeks of December 2026. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing structural fumigation and pesticide use. • The contractor must provide a site-specific Health and Safety Plan and current Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals used during the project. • The contractor must maintain all required insurance throughout the duration of the work and protect the building, adjacent buildings, landscaping, utilities, sidewalks, and public areas from damage. • The contractor must provide a minimum one-year warranty against reinfestation of drywood termites following successful fumigation.
