Sewer Rate Study

The City of Fontana is seeking a consultant to conduct a sewer rate study. The study will include a financial plan, cost-of-service analysis, rate structure review, and affordability and equity analysis. The consultant will also provide public outreach and communication materials, and represent the City at public meetings. The selected consultant will be required to provide a draft summary report and a final report, and to present the proposed rate changes to the City Council for adoption consideration. • The scope of services includes financial planning, cost-of-service analysis, rate structure review, and affordability and equity analysis. • The consultant will provide public outreach and communication materials, and represent the City at public meetings. • The selected consultant will be required to provide a draft summary report and a final report. • The final report will include an assessment of the existing rate structure, an evaluation of rate equity, and a review of existing customer service fees. • The consultant will also provide an interactive financial tool, if requested.
