CSO Final Plan Project – CSO Outfall 024 Partial Separation

The City of Richmond is seeking bids from qualified firms for general construction contracting services related to the City's CSO Outfall 024 project. The project involves intercepting surface stormwater drainage from a 41-acre area and discharging it through a new stormwater collection pipeline to a new stormwater outfall to Gillies Creek. The project includes the construction of a new stormwater collection/conveyance system, consisting of an inlet collection structure, approximately 900 linear feet of 42-inch diameter stormwater piping, five 96-inch diameter manholes, a discharge structure, and all appurtenant work required. The contractor will be responsible for performing the work in accordance with the specifications and plans provided. • The project is located on the Gillies Creek Park property at 4425 Williamsburg Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231. • The project requires the contractor to submit a list of key personnel, including project executive, project manager, project superintendent, and project foreman. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to minority business participation and employment discrimination. • The contractor must provide and maintain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation. • The contractor must submit a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. • The contractor must execute a performance bond and payment bond for labor and materials in accordance with the general conditions of the contract.
