The California Department of Transportation is seeking a certified small‑business electrical contractor to repair or replace traffic signal and lighting systems, install controller assemblies, battery‑backup units, video‑detection equipment, and related fiber‑optic networking across multiple sites in Fresno and Madera counties. The work is a short‑duration, high‑impact project focused on roadway safety and operational reliability.
• Replace/repair traffic signals, pedestrian signals, and associated wiring.
• Install Caltrans‑furnished controller cabinets, battery‑backup hardware, and video‑detection sensors (including POE Category‑6 cabling).
