Description
The Caledonia Community Schools is seeking a design/build contractor to enclose a former stage area for storage at the Kraft Meadows Intermediate School. The project includes demolition and disposal of existing structures, construction of a 6" metal stud wall, installation of FRP paneling, and painting. The contractor will be responsible for all repairs or damages to school district property caused by their equipment, personnel, or materials. The project should meet all existing code compliance requirements, and the contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits.
• The project includes a pre-bid meeting on April 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
• The contractor will be required to provide insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, workers' compensation, and motor vehicle liability.
• The contractor will be responsible for cleaning up the site at the end of each day and completing the project as soon as possible after June 16th.
• The contract will be awarded at the June 15, 2026, Board of Education meeting.
• The contractor will be required to submit a bid form, including their company name, address, phone number, and email.
