The project calls for the reconstruction and widening of the Old State Route 74/Elmont Drive corridor in Union Township, Clermont County, Ohio. It involves demolition of existing roadway elements, installation of new pavement structures, extensive drainage improvements, utility relocations (water mains, sanitary and storm sewers), and the addition of a dedicated turn lane. Work must comply with Ohio prevailing‑wage requirements, state‑funded procurement rules, and strict environmental and safety standards.
• Site preparation: clearing, grubbing, tree removal, pipe and curb removal, excavation, embankment, and subgrade compaction.
• Pavement work: asphalt base (PG‑64‑22), aggregate base, tack coat, multiple asphalt concrete layers, and non‑reinforced concrete pavement sections.
• Utility work: install Class 52 ductile‑iron water main, Type K copper service extensions, conduit and pipe underdrains of various sizes, catch‑basin and manhole replacements, and coordinate with Ohio utilities.
• Drainage & erosion control: install new storm‑sewer conduits, yard drains, seeding, mulching, and erosion control measures.
• Traffic control & signage: provide, maintain, and remove all traffic‑control devices, signage, lane‑arrow markings, and final roadway finish.
