Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to replace the flooring in the commercial kitchen and basement elevator lobby of Building 38 at the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The contractor will be responsible for removing the existing tile flooring, providing sub-floor preparation, and installing new tile flooring. The contractor will also be required to seal floor penetrations, provide dumpsters for trash and debris removal, and reinstall kitchen equipment. The contract period of performance will be 90 days from the date of award.
• The contractor must provide all necessary materials, supervision, and labor to complete the project.
• The contractor must comply with all relevant regulations, including those related to tuberculosis control and security.
• The contractor must provide a single point of contact for quality control issues.
• The contractor must work within the normal work hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, excluding government holidays.
