Above Ground Diesel Tank

The State of Kansas is seeking a vendor to remove, replace, and install a new Above Ground Diesel Tank on the hospital campus located at 1301 KS-264 in Larned, Kansas. The scope of work includes excavating, removing, and hauling off the old tank, backfilling the excavation, and installing a new 4,000 Gallon Horizontal DW Flameshield AST. The vendor will also need to supply and install carbon steel bollards, apply white paint to the above ground piping and bollards, and install new piping and lines. • The project requires the removal of the existing fuel from the UST and transfer to a temporary tank. • The vendor must supply a certified crane service to offload and place the new AST if needed. • The vendor must supply concrete for a new 15' x 20' tank pad for the new AST. • The vendor must install new 1.5" supply and return lines in a 4" double layer access pipe underground. • The vendor must supply and install an inventory only probe in the new AST and a Veeder-Root TLS48 in place of the existing ILS-350.
