Description
The City of New York Fire Department seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive mark‑out, utility‑locating, core‑drilling, saw‑cutting, controlled demolition, and related repair services across all five boroughs. The work includes subsurface investigation, precision cutting of concrete and masonry, and surface remediation, with all labor, materials, tools, and equipment supplied by the contractor. The contract will run for five years, beginning shortly after award, and must meet NYC’s 30 % M/WBE participation goal and adhere to strict insurance, bonding, and prevailing‑wage requirements.
• Subsurface Investigation & Diagnostic Services – utility mapping, GPR, video inspections, and markout markings.
• Structural Penetrations & Precision Cutting – core drilling (1/8”‑36” diameters), diamond‑blade saw cutting, wall‑sawing, wire‑sawing.
• Controlled Demolition & Surface Remediation – rock splitting, floor grinding, concrete breaking, debris removal.
• Equipment repair/rental, parts supply, and 24/7 emergency response capability.
• Mandatory compliance with NYSDOL registration, 30 % M/WBE subcontracting limit, 35 % subcontract ceiling, and fully‑burdened pricing throughout the contract term.
