Description
The Jackson County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the security renovation of the Jackson County Courthouse Entrance. The project includes demolition, addition of a new ballistic resistant security booth, electrical and low voltage work, and other related tasks. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on December 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Bidders must submit their bids by December 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The project requires a 5% bid bond and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price.
• The contractor must provide insurance and bonds in a form acceptable to the Owner.
• The contractor must commence work within 30 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed and complete the work within the Contract Time indicated in the Bidding Documents.
• The contractor must provide a completed AIA Document A305, "Contractor's Qualification Statement," with all exhibits prior to bidding.
