2026 Court Improvements

The City of West Des Moines is seeking bids for the 2026 Court Improvements project, which includes resurfacing and improving recreational courts at Maple Grove, Wild Rose, and Valley View Parks. The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements, including resurfacing tennis and basketball courts, replacing hoops and backboards, and adding synthetic turf and pickleball courts. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Key features of the project include: • Resurfacing one tennis court and one basketball court at Maple Grove Park • Resurfacing one basketball court at Wild Rose Park • Resurfacing two tennis courts, two basketball courts, and adding six pickleball courts at Valley View Park • Extending cricket pitch concrete and adding synthetic turf • Topdressing existing sand volleyball courts with new sand and cleaning up adjacent sand • Adding adjacent berms and native plantings The project is expected to commence in April 2026 and be completed by October 2026.
