Description
This RFP seeks a multi‑disciplinary architectural and engineering team to design‑build a new 90,000‑sq‑ft elementary school to replace the existing Highland Springs Elementary School in Henrico County, Virginia. The scope includes full architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design; site‑wide infrastructure (parking, bus loop, athletic fields); interior design and furniture procurement; LEED Silver certification; and construction‑administration services. The contractor must provide phased design to keep the existing school operational, coordinate extensive telecommunications, security, and AV systems, and comply with Virginia state education and building codes. The contract will commence in January 2027 and must achieve substantial completion by May 1 2029.
• Full A/E design services (Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documents) and construction‑administration for a K‑12 school replacement.
