Description
The Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) is seeking qualified providers to deliver Substance Use Disorder (SUD) support services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). The program aims to provide comprehensive care, promote recovery, and reduce barriers to care. The selected provider will be responsible for conducting individual and group counseling sessions, providing clinical education and therapeutic support, and participating in Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings. The provider must have expertise in working with individuals with IDD and SUD, and must be licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
• The program serves individuals with IDD who are impacted by SUD within Bexar County, Texas.
• The provider must demonstrate experience in developing and delivering treatment plans for dual-diagnosis populations.
• The provider must have excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• The provider must be able to work collaboratively with local organizations, law enforcement, and community providers.
• The provider must be able to provide training and education services to multidisciplinary audiences.
