Utility Allowance Schedules

The County of Shasta is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or organizations to develop utility allowance schedules, including an energy efficiency schedule, for use by the Shasta County Housing Authority for the Housing Choice Voucher Program. The selected consultant will be responsible for determining appropriate utility allowances, verifying information provided by utility providers, and providing detailed HCV utility allowance schedules. The contract will be for 3 years, and the consultant must agree to receive electronic payments and complete the ACH/Direct Deposit Authorization form. • The consultant will be required to develop and maintain utility allowance schedules for use in each of the following counties: Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, and Trinity. • The utility allowance schedules must be made available to SCHA by August 1 annually, for implementation on January 1. • The consultant must utilize the information provided in the "Contact Information for Utility Providers" to obtain current local utility rates and charges. • The consultant must verify the information provided in Exhibit B is complete, accurate, and includes all the required utility providers. • The consultant must provide detailed HCV utility allowance schedules and separate energy efficient utility allowance schedules, on the required HUD Form 52667.
