Description
The Jefferson Parish Government is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the roof of the Bridge City Playground Gymnasium. The scope includes removal of the existing modified‑bitumen roofing system, installation of a new modified‑bitumen membrane, replacement of standing‑seam metal roofing panels, new metal wall panels, gutters, downspouts, and exhaust fans, plus related structural repairs. The work must comply with parish specifications and include required performance and payment bonds.
• Remove existing roof down to lightweight insulating concrete deck and install new modified‑bitumen membrane system.
• Install new standing‑seam metal roof panels, corrugated metal wall panels, gutters, downspouts, and wall‑mounted exhaust fans.
• Provide all required surety bonds (5 % bid bond, performance bond, payment bond) and comply with tax‑exempt status filing (Form R‑1020).
• Attend optional pre‑bid conference on 10 April 2026; submit sealed electronic bids by 2 PM on 30 April 2026.
• Drawings and specifications available for a $25 electronic set or $75 hard‑copy set; additional geotechnical review may be required.
