The City of Hastings is seeking a single‑contractor, design‑build team to demolish and replace the existing standing‑seam metal roof and associated long‑tab insulation on its municipal warehouse. The work includes full demolition, installation of a new aluminum‑zinc alloy roof system, insulation, gutters, downspouts, and all related site services, with a 365‑day completion window and strict bonding, insurance, and warranty requirements.
• Demolition of existing 9,900 SF standing‑seam metal roof and insulation.
• Installation of new 24‑in. aluminum‑zinc alloy standing‑seam roof with full trims, gutters, and penetrations.
• Installation of cavity‑fill long‑tab insulation system with vapor barrier, including all accessories.
• Contractor must furnish a 5 % bid bond, full performance/payment bond, required insurance, and retainage provisions; liquidated damages apply for late completion.
