The New York City Housing Authority is seeking a contractor to rehabilitate, modernize, and maintain 70 elevators across 27 residential buildings at Marcy Houses. The work includes full removal and replacement of elevator systems, installation of new equipment, testing, commissioning, training, and coordination with existing NYCHA trades. A separate maintenance agreement will follow the construction phase to provide ongoing service. • Scope: full elevator package (machines, controls, hoistway components, car enclosures, doors, communication, safety devices, electrical) for 70 elevators. • Phased construction to minimize resident disruption; mandatory coordination with NYCHA and a separate electrical contract. • Includes a post‑completion maintenance and service agreement (Part B).
