Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is seeking information from contractors who can provide an existing, commercial, off-the-shelf, web-based, electronic subscription to the full-text publications of OVID Publications. The subscription should include access to the OVID HIGH IMPACT Collection (also called the LWW High Impact Collection) and should be available throughout the VHA healthcare system. The contractor should provide an unrestricted number of simultaneous users with immediate access from any web-enabled computer within VHA. The contractor should also provide technical support to VHA users nationwide and ensure that the product is 508 compliant.
Some key requirements of the project include:
• Providing access to a single online, web-based subscription to the OVID HIGH IMPACT Collection
• Ensuring authentication through IP address validation on an enterprise basis
• Providing an unrestricted number of simultaneous users with immediate access
• Ensuring that all authorized remote users with VPN access have access to the product
• Providing technical support to VHA users nationwide
• Ensuring that the product is 508 compliant
