Description
The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) is seeking a contractor to repair and retrofit the fire alarm system at multiple buildings on its campus in Glynco, Georgia. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work. The project includes the replacement of existing fire alarm systems and associated devices/wiring, and the commissioning of new Notifier systems. The contractor must have experience with fire alarm installations in occupied buildings, preferably multiple buildings in a campus or multi-building environment, and must be able to integrate the systems with a central monitoring station.
• The project includes the retrofit of fire alarm systems in multiple buildings, including Buildings 261, 141, 198, 212, 71, 39, 46, 101, 103, 146, 260, 2400, 36, 216, 263, 1, 21, 90, 147, 309, 641, 92, 20, 67.
• The contractor must be able to work in an occupied facility and must take necessary precautions to minimize disruptions to ongoing activities.
• The contractor must be able to complete the work within 650 days of the notice to proceed.
• The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must have a valid NAICS code of 238210.
