Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a quotation for a Mini Excavator to support Engineering Service operations at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, Waco Campus. The equipment is needed to conduct essential earthmoving, excavation, and materials-handling activities required for maintenance, construction support, and infrastructure work across the facility. The Contractor shall provide one fully functional Mini Excavator, including operator and service training, and all required user and maintenance manuals. Key features of the Mini Excavator include a travel speed of 1.7-2.7 mph, slew speed of 10.5 rpm, and hydraulic system with a max flow of 26.7 gpm and max system pressure of 3,771 psi.
• The Mini Excavator must meet the salient characteristics listed in the solicitation, including performance, power, electrical system, controls, and auxiliary functions.
• The Contractor shall provide on-site training for Engineering Service personnel, including safe operation, routine service, and preventive maintenance procedures.
• The equipment must be delivered to the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, Waco Campus, by October 31, 2026.
• The Contractor must be a verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.
