The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking a single‑source vendor to upgrade its Locked Wheel Friction Trailer (LWFT), a specialized test vehicle used to measure pavement skid resistance. The upgrade includes equipment design, computer control systems, proprietary software, and hardware components to extend the trailer’s service life and ensure compatibility with existing FDOT units.
