TOS No. 25-005 - Phase II of Engine Company 23 Junior Arts Center for Professional Design & Construction Administration

The City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Engineering (BOE), Architectural Division is seeking a consultant to provide interior and exterior rehabilitation of an existing historical Fire Station for the development of a Junior Arts Center, including architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, bid support, historic preservation documentation, and construction administration services for all disciplines. The project involves transforming the Engine Company 23 into an intergenerational Junior Arts Center that will be enjoyed and used by the community and local youth. The scope of work includes providing professional design and construction administration services for Phase II of the Engine Company 23 Junior Arts Center. Some key aspects of the project include: * Adaptive re-use of the former fire station into a Junior Arts Center * Inclusion of flexible spaces for various arts education components, staff space, restrooms, break rooms, and an art gallery space * Community outreach and engagement to determine the needs and interests of the local community * Historic preservation documentation and compliance with relevant regulations * Construction administration services to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
