Description
The California Correctional Training and Rehabilitation Authority (CALCTRA) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for its On‑Time‑Delivery North warehouse in Sacramento. The work covers roughly 2,000 sf of office, conference rooms, bathrooms, and shop areas within a 62,441 sf facility. The contract is a best‑value IFB with a base term of two years and a one‑year optional extension. The contractor must handle all labor, materials, equipment, insurance, and compliance requirements, including sub‑contractor limits, ex‑offender hiring encouragement, and numerous state certifications.
• Perform daily/weekly cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom sanitation, dusting, etc.) and periodic deeper‑cleaning (window washing, floor stripping/waxing, high‑dusting).
• Provide ≥ 50 % of staffing in‑house; subcontractors may not exceed 50 % of contract value and must be registered with the Labor Commissioner.
• Deliver all services within 06:00‑14:00 M‑F, up to 6 hours per day, and submit itemized invoices no more than once every 30 days, with payment due ≤ 45 days of receipt.
