Description
The California School Finance Authority (CSFA) is seeking a qualified public‑accounting firm to provide comprehensive accounting services that will convert CSFA’s Budgetary Legal Basis financial statements to GAAP/GASB standards and support related reporting requirements. The work includes developing a reconciliation workbook, preparing conversion journal entries, assisting with the Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) letter, and providing ongoing accounting guidance for the 2026‑2027 fiscal‑year audit cycles.
• Build detailed reconciliation workbooks and document all adjusting journal entries.
• Prepare conversion entries for GASB 34/103 compliance and assist with MD&A preparation.
• Offer ad‑hoc guidance on governmental accounting, loan accounting, and implementation of new GASB standards.
• Deliver all services under the direction of the CSFA Contract Manager, with a start‑up requirement in August 2026.
• Contract value up to $30,000 for the initial two‑year term (potential extension to $45,000).
