The City of Cortez is seeking a qualified contractor to completely replace the roof of the Cortez Recreation Center. The project involves removal and disposal of the existing roofing system, inspection and repair of the roof deck, installation of new tapered insulation, a fully‑adhered 60‑mil TPO membrane, new edge metal, flashing, coping caps, and a 20‑year no‑dollar‑limit manufacturer warranty. Work must be performed while the facility remains operational, and the contractor must comply with accessibility, prevailing‑wage, bonding, and insurance requirements. The contract term is expected to run from early December 2026 through early March 2027.
• Scope: ~14,500 sf flat roof plus ~3,500 sf wall membrane (≈18,000 sf total).
• Required deliverables: removal/disposal, deck repair, new insulation (R‑30 equivalent), TPO membrane, edge metal, flashing, coping caps, drain modifications, waterproofing, and a 20‑year NDL warranty.
