The Florida Keys Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified firms to locate its underground utilities and facilities before any excavation activities, in compliance with the Sunshine 811 notification service. This work is essential to prevent damage to existing infrastructure and ensure safety during construction or maintenance projects. • Perform underground utility locating using approved detection equipment and techniques. • Provide detailed location reports, markings, and as‑built documentation for each identified utility. • Coordinate with the cooperative’s excavation teams and respond to any queries regarding utility locations. • Deliver all findings in accordance with the bid package specifications and FKEC’s standard terms and conditions.
