County of Northampton Public Works - Water Treatment Testing and Maintenance

The County of Northampton is soliciting proposals for contracted services for water treatment testing and maintenance at the Government Center campus in Easton, PA and Gracedale Nursing Home campus in Nazareth, PA. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing monthly visits to service water treatment equipment and replenish chemical supplies at both campuses. The proposal shall include all costs associated with labor, travel, and basic materials required to perform the monthly services. • The contractor shall maintain an inventory of all required chemicals, including softeners, scale, sludge, and corrosion inhibitors, biocides, odor neutralizers, and any other chemicals required to ensure water quality and longevity of the water distribution system. • The contractor shall provide a report following each monthly visit summarizing work performed, water quality testing results, and any recommendations. • The contractor shall notify County staff and prepare a written quote for consideration if repairs are required during the course of performing preventative maintenance.
