Description
The City of Calhoun is soliciting sealed labor bids for the relocation and installation of water and sanitary sewer lines along Curtis Parkway. The contractor must be a licensed Georgia Utility Contractor and must employ a certified Utility Manager. The scope includes laying 4,500 LF of 12″ DIP, 900 LF of 8″ DIP, and 200 LF of 6″ DIP, plus hydrants, valves, service transfers, soil stabilization, driveway reconstruction, and erosion control. Materials are largely pre‑procured and stored on‑site; the contractor will haul them ~2.5 mi to the job site. Work must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days. Bids must be accompanied by a 10 % bid bond and, if awarded, 100 % performance and payment bonds.
